Hot water

Rackam has developed a flat collector specially designed to supply production sites with low temperature fluids such as with sanitary hot water and space heating fluid.

1 & 2: The S40 evacuated flat panel system are the heat collectors. They are usually provided with a ES203 single axis solar tracker for flat panels.

3: The water heater stores the energy produced by the solar collectors and can heat the water when solar heat production is not enough for the demand or when there is no sun.

4: An additional storage tank can be installed to collect the heat that is produced by the collectors but that is not at sufficient temperature for to by used.

5: A refrigerant loop and a heat pump is used to transfer the heat from the low temperature storage tank to the water heater.
