Parabolic trough solar fields offer excellent specific heat output and a strong yield per square meter of land used. Rackam’s solar fields utilize the S21 series of parabolic troughs—robust, single-axis concentrators designed for durability, minimal maintenance, and ease of installation. These collectors are optimized to deliver consistent thermal energy performance while keeping operational costs low.
A Rackam solar field consists of multiple rows of S21 concentrators arranged in a single-axis configuration. A distributing manifold at one end of the field directs a heat transfer fluid through the collectors, where it is heated by concentrated sunlight. The heated fluid is then gathered by a collecting manifold at the opposite end and sent to a heat exchanger. There, it transfers its thermal energy to the industrial process loop. A fully instrumented pumping module ensures continuous fluid circulation and real-time monitoring of system parameters, supporting efficient and reliable operation.
The S21 Parabolic Trough series redefines how industrial solar energy is deployed. Engineered for rugged, real-world conditions, it combines high efficiency with rock-solid durability.
Every detail of the S21 has been carefully thought through to make your installation easier, faster, and longer-lasting:
Thanks to this unique protective feature, the S21 isn’t limited by climate.
It thrives in the snow, in the desert, and everywhere in between — ensuring your investment is protected no matter what nature throws at it. Whether you’re heating industrial processes or powering a hybrid energy system, the S21 gives you the confidence to build solar energy wherever you need it.
